One thing you need to understand is people will often tell you what they are actually like, you just have to listen to them. In his Netflix documentary, Eddie Hall admitted that he was a sociopath. I wish both guys the best and it was an awesome fight ! Now he can try to squeeze as much milk out as he can until he will be forgotten, or he will figure out something new and surprise us. He also made few shows but know after this its slowly declining. They even didn’t know he was a strongman. He is a very nice guy and mostly very calm.īest thing would be now to comeback to strongman! He could win few shows and extend his ruputation!Įddie: Eddie is milking his reputations since years, and he really created a hype/persona around him with his WSM win and especially with his 500kg. He is famous but dont have this persona which you will remember for long. Thor has a great following but unfortunately, he can’t milk it a lot. You build a reputation over the years and after few years you can milk it. He looks impressive and this condition is alright but its nothing compared to the pros. He will get few bucks here and there due to this fame but no 7 figures anymore and after few fights it will be nothing spescial anymore. He will have few fights and most likely lose them all and that’s it. He made some good money now and has some momentum, but I believe he couldn’t even beat an amateur heavy weight boxer. Thor: Thor wants to get into boxing, but this would be nonsense. They both are highly competitive and still in their prime (age wise) The big question I’m asking myself now, is what next for them both? I also hope Eddie can grow up some and move on I kind of hope one or both of them make a return to strongman as they were both amazing competitors. You could tell by the way Thor tried to talk to Eddie after the bell and Eddie just looked pissed when Thor walked away. I also thought it was pretty obvious Thor worked through some of his issues with Eddie in the ring, but not vice versa. To me it was very clear that in the 6th round Thor probably could have knocked Eddie out if he had been aggressive, but I think he held back and only landed big shots to keep Eddie off of him because he knew he was gonna win and he didn't want to risk being hurt. He looked like a boxer (especially compared to Eddie). Thor I thought handled himself amazingly well especially given the little bits of his training fights I watched. He clearly thought he was gonna bomb Thor out and break his will to fight. However he should have done less lifting and more technique training. Whatever stamina training he did paid off. The only thing I can really give Eddie credit for is his stamina. So what follows is my completely amateur opinion. Shane Jerman (MST Systems) Welcome, new visitors!
